When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is possible from 15.00, and check-out must take place no later than 10:00 a.m.
When can I have breakfast?
Our cozy café offers breakfast Monday–Friday from 7:00–9:30 AM and on weekends from 8:00–9:30 AM.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. You will be informed of the code for the network at check-in.
Is parking free and where is it?
If you are a guest at the hotel, parking is free and you can park in our parking lot right in front of the hotel. Please contact us if you would like to reserve a parking space.
Is the hotel disabled-friendly?
Yes, we have two accessible rooms, which are equipped with a toilet with armrests and a roll-in shower. The room also offers extra floor space and wide doors for increased comfort.
The hotel is easily accessible for wheelchair users and there is a lift to the 1st floor.
Is there a restaurant at the hotel?
Yes, on the hotel premises you will find Restaurant Kalle, which serves classic Danish food. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and you can read more and book a table at kallesrestaurant.dk. Right next to the hotel is also Nordstrandens Ishus, which is open in the summer and offers delicious ice cream, burgers and other fast food.

Kerteminde offers experiences for families, couples and nature lovers alike. You can enjoy the beautiful child-friendly sandy beach, take a walk along the marina, visit exciting museums, experience the cozy old town center or explore the beautiful nature around Fyns Hoved. The city is also known for good restaurants, maritime experiences and popular attractions such as the Johannes Larsen Museum and Fjord & Bælt. Kerteminde is also located directly on the coast and offers fantastic opportunities for swimming, hiking and cycling all year round.

How far is the city center from the hotel?
The hotel is centrally located in Kerteminde, with one of Funen’s best beaches right next door. Popular sights such as Fjord & Belt and the Johannes Larsen Museum are only a 5-minute walk away. In addition, the main street, where you will find shops and restaurants, is also only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
The hotel is 100% non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted indoors or on the rooms’ balconies and terraces. Outdoors, smoking is only allowed in the areas that are specially marked for the purpose.
What is the cancellation policy of the hotel?
Any cancellation or change must be made in writing to info@hotelkertemindestrand.dk and is only valid when confirmation has been received. Conditions for cancellation appear in your booking confirmation. In case of late cancellation or no-show, full payment corresponding to the price of the ordered item will be charged. It should be noted that some offers cannot be cancelled, refunded or changed. This will appear when ordering.
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
Yes! Dogs are welcome in the room type Large room on the ground floor. If you want to bring your dog, simply select this room type when booking.
A dog supplement of DKK 200 per stay is charged.
Does the hotel have family rooms?
In the hotel we have rooms with a sliding door between, which are ideal for families. If you want to book these rooms, you can contact us via email at info@hotelkertemindestrand.dk.
Is there a possibility to charge an electric car?
Yes, the hotel has 2 charging stations with a power of 22 kW per outlet.
You will find them in the parking lot on the right side when you arrive at the hotel.
