Our specially designed rooms make your stay both easy and effortless:

Spacious room with wide aisles and plenty of maneuvering space for a wheelchair
Armrests at the toilet for extra safety and stability

Experiences for all
Johannes Larsen Museet
The museum is for everyone, and we do our best to ensure that all guests – regardless of their circumstances – have a good and safe experience.
There is disabled parking right at the entrance to the Johannes Larsen Museum (Møllebakken 14), so access is as easy as possible.
Companions of people with disabilities have free admission upon presentation of a companion card.
Most of the museum’s buildings are disabled-friendly, but there are a few exceptions. There are stairs in the villa and at the workshop, and unfortunately it is not possible to bring a wheelchair into the villa.
The museum has disabled-friendly toilets both at the entrance to the collection and at the Coffee House.
Fjord & Bælt
Good facilities for disabled people at Fjord & Bælt
Fjord & Bælt offers good and accessible facilities for visitors with disabilities. There are ramps, lifts at level differences and an elevator to the first floor, which makes it possible to get around all areas of the center without difficulty.
In addition, there are two disabled parking spaces close to the main entrance – by the harbor, right by the water laboratory.
Vikingemuseet Ladby
Both the museum building and the mound with the Viking ship grave are handicap-friendly with ramps, no steps and, in the case of the museum building, an elevator.
The walk from the parking lot in front of the museum building to the museum building and the walk from the latter to the mound can be challenging due to gravel and dirt paths, respectively.
In the basement of the museum building there is a toilet that is suitable for people with disabilities. The basement is easily reached by elevator.
Guests with disabilities can also bring a companion free of charge by showing a companion card. Guide dogs are also welcome.
The museum has a wheelchair that can be borrowed.
